The Butterflies
(12 - 24 Months Old)

In the Butterflies' room, we teach children ages 12 - 24 months old. The lead teacher is Mrs. Sharrise, who has been with us for over 10 years and has been in the teaching profession for over 25 years. The Butterflies' daily schedule includes group time, outside play, arts and crafts, and musical and physical education. We teach basic colors and shapes, numbers 1 through 10, and the days of the week. Sign language is used for a way of communication as our students learn how to talk, and we incorporate activities that help support social and emotional development. Mrs. Sharrise sends home a daily "My Day" note that tells you how your child's overall day was, what they ate, when they were changed, and how long they took a nap.
